Don is a filmmaker and digital media artist whose work explores issues of place, community and identity. He received his BFA in sculpture from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and MFA from the University of Connecticut. As an editor and creative director in the Los Angeles entertainment industry, Don worked on branded content for clients that include NBC Universal Media, Twentieth Century Fox and Pepsi. In 2011 Don established an award winning studio in New Bedford, Massachusetts. His independent films have screened at festivals in the Czech Republic, South Korea, Portugal and across the US. Don teaches digital arts at the university level and engages with diverse communities through social practice and media education.
